The Bully is the third book in Sophie Lark’s Kingmakers series and is a spin-off/2nd gen series from the couples of Brutal Birthright. I received this audiobook for free from Pink Flamingo Productions and Audiobook Obsessions. I love how there are three POVs and I cannot wait to find out who the Spy is. The Bully had me hooked from the beginning and I couldn't wait to see what would happen. Sophie Lark is a s master storyteller, weaving together s story that is intriguing and steamy. I definitely recommend reading this series in order as each book builds off the previous and there are hints of what's to come. The events that lead to Dean wielding his power over Cat start in book 2.
While the couple is new Dean was introduced in Book 1 and Cat in Book 2. I didn't want to stop listening, fully engrossed from the start. This is a must read series that will not disappoint ! You learn crucial details in the first two books that are the main events in book 3. In book 2 you meet Kat and with meeting Kat means feeling like you’re right there with her going through everything Kingmaker’s has to throw at you. You first meet Dean in book 1 where you really start to learn the reason for why he is the way he is. I highly recommend reading these books in order even though they are all standalone. I have my suspicions on who but only time will tell. Plus the added 3rd POV of The Spy is so intriguing that I wanted to keep collecting all the facts and clues. Don’t let the shadow fool you, she is a mafia queen in the making ! Dean + Kat are so explosive with chemistry that I listened to this book in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen next. Decisions she has made have put her in the devil hands of Dean.
Forced to abandon her dreams and come to Kingmaker’s, Kat ends up in the worst situation of anyone on the island. Kat is the 5’0, scared and quiet younger sister of Zoe. He is at Kingmaker’s to prove a point to everyone but especially his father. He seems desperate, alone, whiny and dare I say afraid ? He is a bully just to be one and he doesn’t care if anyone likes him or not. When we first meet him in The Heir there is an instant dislike for Dean. 5/5 DELICIOUSLY SEXY ⭐️’s ! DEAN YENIN IS A GOD.
